quick comparison between dr. ph martin's spectralite silver, finetec coliro peach, and dr. ph martin's pen white ink on paper source’s cypress stock
a small envelope addressing project crossed my desk earlier this week that called for a colored stock with the possibility of a metallic or white ink. so before starting the project, i quickly did an ink test with three contenders and recorded a video of what they look like to send to the client. thought it might be handy to share here too incase you’re looking to use a similar stock with similar ink options.
note: links are listed below, and while none of them are affiliate links, if you’d like to order supplies through paper and ink arts , i’ve included a referral link to their rewards page where you’ll get points on all your orders which then turn into coupons. the points add up quickly and getting $5 or $10 off a purchase is always a sweet reward!
stock: paper source’s cypress stock
ink (top to bottom):
dr. ph martin’s spectralite in silver
finetec coliro watercolor in peach
dr. ph martin’s pen white (my all time favorite white ink)
as always, if you have any questions or your own personal favorite ink and paper combination, drop them in the comments below.
until next time!
